Make your own Organic Chocolate Syrup. So easy to make and so rewarding for a treat now and again. It’s great in milk, on top of ice-cream, as a base-puddle for a sinful chocolate brownie explosion dessert, or even over your favourite fruit or parfait!
ORGANIC CHOCOLATE SYRUP
- 1 cup organic fair-trade cocoa
- 1 cup organic fair-trade cane sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
Sift cocoa into saucepan, mix in sugar and water. Whisk on stove over medium heat. Allow mixture to come to a boil, allow to cool, and pour into a glass jar or bottle. This stores in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
